
Vittorio Colao
Vittorio Colao is Vice Chairman EMEA and Board Member of General Atlantic, Non-Executive Director of Verizon, and Executive Trustee of Bocconi University.
He chaired the Remuneration Committee of Unilever PLC (2015–2021). He was Minister for Technological Innovation and Digital Transition and Delegate Authority for Space for the Italian Government with Prime Minister Draghi (2021–2022).
In 2024 Colao contributed to the Draghi Report The future of European competitiveness. In 2020 he chaired Italy’s post-COVID recovery committee for Prime Minister Conte.
Previously, he was CEO of Vodafone Group (2008–2018). Colao holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Bath (2024), and received the Alumni Achievement Award from Harvard Business School (2025). He is a reserve officer of the Italian Carabinieri.
