Mario Draghi
Mario Draghi is an Italian economist who served as President of the European Central Bank from 2011 to 2019 and as Prime Minister of Italy from 2021 to 2022. His famous 2012 pledge to do 'whatever it takes' to preserve the euro was decisive in stabilising the currency and bringing the European sovereign debt crisis to an end. In 2024, at the request of the European Commission, he published "The future of European competitiveness", a detailed blueprint for reversing Europe's economic decline that has become the main reference in EU competitiveness debates.
Patrick Collison
Patrick Collison is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Stripe, a financial technology company that builds programmable financial infrastructure for online commerce. He frequently writes and speaks about science, innovation, and economic growth, engaging with scientists, economists, and entrepreneurs on how new ideas shape long-term prosperity. Collison also co-founded the Arc Institute, which supports long-term biomedical research by giving scientists stable funding to pursue ambitious projects.
Luis Garicano
Luis Garicano is a Spanish economist and Professor of Public Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His research focuses on the interaction between technology and organisational change as a driver of productivity. From 2019 to 2022 he served as a Member of the European Parliament, where he contributed to drafting the legislation for the EU's recovery fund. He was previously a full professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. His research has appeared in the top journals in economics, including the American Economic Review, Journal of Political Economy, Quarterly Journal of Economics and Review of Economic Studies.
Teresa Raigada
Teresa Raigada is Chief of Staff at the Rhine Group. Before joining the group, she served as Head of Projects at EsadeEcPol, Spain's leading economic policy think tank, and as a Project Manager at the London School of Economics. She holds a double degree in Law and Economics from the UC3M and a Master in Public Administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Marta Garayoa
Marta Garayoa is Chief Operating Officer of the Rhine Group, where she leads operations, communications, and the organisation’s public-facing activities. Before joining the Group, she spent nearly nine years at NTT DATA, a Japanese technology and consulting company, including as Global Sustainability Head of Marketing and Communication. In 2022 she founded Metaprosa, a non-profit cultural centre that promotes Spanish literature and cultural exchange.
