Louis Dreyfus

Louis Dreyfus has been CEO and Publisher of Groupe Le Monde since 2010. The group, France's leading independent media group, publishes Le Monde, Télérama, Courrier International, Le Monde Diplomatique, and Le HuffPost France, among other titles.

Dreyfus has led the group's transition from print to digital, building one of the largest digital subscription bases in European news media and growing the newsroom from 310 journalists to more than 570. Under his leadership, the group has expanded into new formats including podcasts, video, and live events.

Before joining Groupe Le Monde, Dreyfus served as CEO of Libération and CEO of Le Nouvel Observateur. He began his career in New York at Hachette Filipacchi Magazines, where he contributed to the launch of George Magazine with John F. Kennedy Jr., before moving to Marseille as CFO of the daily newspaper La Provence.

Dreyfus is a board member of Agence France-Presse (AFP). He is a graduate of HEC Paris and an alumnus of the London School of Economics and Political Science.
