Bastian Nominacher
Bastian Nominacher is co-founder and co-CEO of Celonis, a global leader in Process Intelligence. Celonis makes processes work for people, companies and the planet, enabling companies to realise the true potential of Enterprise AI.
Born out of a university project in 2011, Nominacher and his two co-founders discovered the transformative potential of a new technology — process mining. Together, they created the category and built the Celonis Process Intelligence (PI) platform, which provides the business context Enterprise AI needs to deliver tangible value.
Today, Celonis helps more than 25% of the Fortune 500, including companies like BMW, Exxon Mobil, Fujitsu and Vinmar, understand how their business actually runs, continuously improve operations, and unlock billions in value. The company is recognised as the #1 Process Intelligence provider by Gartner, Forrester & Everest Group and has been awarded #3 for long-term growth in the Fortune Future 50.
Under Nominacher's leadership, Celonis has grown into one of Europe’s most successful enterprise software companies, achieving decacorn status and securing more than $1 billion in funding, valuing the company at $13 billion.
Beyond Celonis, Nominacher is an active angel investor in the startup ecosystem and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He studied finance, information management, and computer science at TUM.
