Adam Brzezinski

Adam Brzezinski is a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He completed his DPhil in Economics at the University of Oxford in 2023.

His main line of research combines theoretical and empirical approaches to study political narratives: he develops models of how parties compete in narratives and tests them by designing LLM-based methods to measure narratives in parliamentary speeches.

In a second line of research, he uses historical evidence to inform our understanding of monetary and fiscal policy. He has worked directly with HM Treasury and the Office for Budget Responsibility, building an overlapping generations model of the UK economy for fiscal policy analysis.
